THE PITCH STEER & BEER FESTIVAL

Brewskies and burgers go hand in hand, but the Pitch Steer & Beer Festival takes their harmonious relationship to the next level. For the second year running, the festival gathers chefs and brewers together for a celebration of the classic pairing, giving locals and visitors alike a taste of Kansas City’s best fare.
The Steer: Local restaurants serve burgers hot off the grill, vying for the coveted “Steer & Beer Best Burger” trophy.
The Beer: Breweries show up with more than 100 types of beer, ensuring that the festival has enough variety to please any palate.
The Cause: A portion of the proceeds will benefit Harvesters, a nonprofit community food network that supplies food to emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes, and more.
